How much charcoal should I use?
Great question - and more common than you might expect! We recommend that you base the amount of charcoal that you use on the length of time you are expecting to cook for.
Whilst you should factor in the temperature you are cooking at, the climate of the surrounding area that you are cooking in and various other factors, we generally recommend a 1:1 ratio of 1kg of briquettes per 1kg of meat.
